Located on the largest of the Aeolian Islands just a, one hour ferry ride; 4 nautical miles from the coast of Sicily lies wonderful relaxed Island of Lipari.

The inhabitants total approximately 8980, called "Liparesi."

Here just 3.8 km from the port and the center, 7 minutes by car you will find yourself in the peace and beauty of Villa La Bruni; a magnificent fully renovated Villa set high on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean.

It's obvious as soon as you enter this Villa via a private gate through a small garden, that the owner has been passionate with every detail of this magnificent renovation, showing exquisite taste and special care to retain the true Sicilian flavour throughout the Villa.

The Mediterranean blue shutters, and outdoor furniture in the same shades, typical of this region are a wonderful combination with the whitewashed interior and exterior walls and pillars that add an imposing style; holiday shades that establish, you're in a Mediterranean setting.

Perfectly designed for outdoor living there's a large terrace, typical of the local architecture surrounding the Villa; overlooking the pool on a lower level.

You'll find beautifully tiled benches where you can lounge with cushions or dine at a large tiled blue table for up to fifteen people.

All the rooms of the Villa face the terrace.

The entire outdoor and indoor flooring is in large blocks of white rustic finished stone quarried from volcanic island rock.

The master bedroom at one end of the villa has a sea view.

There's a romantic bathroom next to the bedroom in a mix of blue and some hand painted Sicilian wall and floor tiles; the gold framed mirror compliments the decor.

The villa flows into a living area; a mix of rusitic, contemporary pieces and a modern comfortable sofa bed for two; eclectic and interesting.

There's a second bedroom with two single beds and some large pieces of original modern art; again the shutters open to the terrace.

There's a second nice bathroom on this same level.

The kitchen is in keeping with the blue white colour scheme; fully equipped with an abundance of cutlery and crockery; there's a small dishwasher.

The stone staircase from the verandah, leads to the third bedroom.

There's also a third small ensuite bathroom.

When you feel like a diversion; take a short drive to Lipari and mix with the friendly locals; sample some delicious local fish dishes in one of the many traditional beachside restaurants or stroll along the main street where you'll find many local ceramics and fabulous gift shops.

The beach is just a short ten minute walk away, about 200 meters from the villa.
