Cefalů is a wonderful Sicilian town on the northern coast of Sicily about 75 kilometers east of Palermo; 45 minutes by car.
Cefalů (with the accent on the last syllable) is a medieval town built on the site of an ancient Sicanian and Greek settlement, narrow streets and delightful restaurants on a rocky coastline and a magnificent sandy beach,the view from the summit is inspiring.
Just 7 kilometers away, 10 minutes by car, you will discover Villa Del Glicine, behind the gates in the privacy of large gardens; two hectares of tree lined land.
A tree lined path and a 5 minute walk, about 300 meters takes you to a wide sandy beach behind the Villa.
Villa del Glicine has been meticulously maintained throughout and retains a homely cottage atmosphere. Teracotta tiled throughout, rich wooden furniture, an open fireplace in the living room, make this a welcoming place to spend a great holiday.
The villa is on two levels; there's a spacious living room on the ground floor with a dining table and bench seating.
The fully equipped rustic style kitchen is beautifully tiled also has a dining table; the side door of the kitchen leads to a long verandah where you can enter the gardens, take a stroll to the beach, use the out door barbecue or prepare lunch for outdoor dining at a long ceramic tiled table.
Upstairs there are three spacious double bedrooms, all with windows onto the garden. There are two bathrooms upstairs and there are two sofa beds; one for two and the other for one person.
There are four more smaller house on the grounds of Villa del Glicine, these are all well spaced from each other to allow privacy to all; ideal for large groups, in total the main villa and the four houses can sleep up to twenty three people.
These are Casa Dei Pini sleeps 3 / Casa Del Gelso sleeps 3 / Casa del Vignia & Casa del Carrubo are two apartments right next to each other sleeping 4 people in each apartment.
