Villa Tartaruga is situated near Scopello village, an ancient borough and tuna fishing station.
The natural reserve park Lo Zingaro is only a few chilometers away offering its uncontaminated, crystal sea waters and rugged Sicilian landscape.
The villa is surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation and is built in the traditional Sicilian fashion, constructed out of natural, local materials.
Indoors, the villa is characterized by an open plan living room, which is very large and luminous, and whose furnishing and decor reflects the Sicilian art style called agreste.
There are three bedrooms, one of them has a double queen-sized bed, one is a double bedroom and the third one is a single with the possibility to add an extra bed (bunk beds).
Villa Tartaruga is surrounded by verandas, one of which is covered and houses a furnished barbeque area garden furniture.
Additionally, there is a swimming pool for pleasant refreshment during the hot summer days.
The nearest city is Castellammare del Golfo at a distance of about 5km where there are an abundance of banks, post, shops, supermarkets and restaurants.
The fascinating Borough of Scopello offers charming restaurants, pizzerias and bars and is recommended for those who would like to taste authentic Sicilian cuisine.
