Situated in the countryside village of Alcamo (about 35 km from Palermo's International Airport, and about 55km from Trapani Airport), Villa Parola's architecture is a typically Sicilian construction.
The renovated structure still preserves the main characteristics of the baglio, or courtyard - a rural site, which was the common center of the social life of local families.
Villa Parola, also known locally as "La Masseria di Mamma," dates from 1943.
After its renovation, it was transformed into an elegant and large residence able to host up to 10 people.

The ground floor has a large and luminous living room, characterised by a stone arch, originating from the period of the villa's first construction.
A large window looks out to the patio and pool with a panoramic view of the countryside backdrop.
The decor of the villa is cheerful and colorful, and the old fashioned furniture exemplifies Sicilian craftsmanship.
The living room is adjacent to the kitchen, which is also spacious and luminous with a view over the swimming pool.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary utensils, cutlery and household tools.
Furthermore, there are two double bedrooms each with a queen size bed and both have an en-suite bathroom with shower.
There is also one double bedroom with twin beds and two single bedrooms. In addition, there is a handicap accessible bathroom.
All of these bedrooms are located on the ground floor and are all elegantly furnished.
A beautiful wooden staircase leads up to the first floor, where the master bedroom is found, a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a panoramic view over the surrounding territory.
Villa Parola is equipped with many amenities including a computer with internet access, a small library and a washing machine among other things.
Villa Parola's location is not far from many sightseeing and archeological sites such as Palermo, Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello, Segesta, Erice, Selinunte, Marsala and Agrigento.
It is only 5 km from the nearest beach, which is located in Castellammare del Golfo.
What's more, the natural reserve park Lo Zingaro is no more than 10km away where one can hike, picnic, engage in water sports such as swimming, scuba diving, and sailing, or simply relax and enjoy the natural scenery.
